Y-107 RAISES $718,379 TO HELP KIDS OF
ST. JUDE CHILDREN'S RESEARCH HOSPITAL

(NEW YORK, NY, FEBRUARY 16, 1999) - New Country Y-107 is proud to announce the grand total pledged during Y-107's Second Annual St. Jude Radiothon was $718,379!

The 39-hour live Radiothon, which was held this past Valentine's Day Weekend at Woodbridge Center Mall in Woodbridge, New Jersey, benefited St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, America's premiere pediatric cancer research hospital.

Highlights of the Y-107 St. Jude Radiothon included a visit and autograph signing by Martina McBride, live performances by Linda Davis, South Sixty Five, Jim Brickman and the Broadway cast of Footloose and visits from two inspiring childhood cancer survivors.

Y-107's 1999 total of $718,379 marks a 68% increase from the 1998 Radiothon total of $427,346.

Y-107 listeners can look forward to Y-107's Third Annual St. Jude Radiothon, to be held at Woodbridge Center in February 2000!

New Country Y-107 is a Quadrocast on 107.1 FM consisting of WYNY-FM (New York), WWVY-FM (Long Island) and WWYY-FM and WWZY-FM (New Jersey).
